The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When a human being dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ وَعَافِهِمْ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُمْ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُمْ، وَاغْسِلْهُمْ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهِمْ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَاجْعَلْ قُبُورَهُمْ رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُمُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ الأَعْلَىٰ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِجَمِيعِ مَوْتَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ الأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالأَمْوَاتِ. آمِينَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ.

“O Allah, forgive them and shower them with Your infinite mercy. Pardon their shortcomings, honor their arrival, expand their graves with light, and cleanse them as a white garment is cleansed of all impurities. Make their resting abodes gardens from the gardens of Paradise, admit them into Jannat al-Firdaws alongside the Prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and grant forgiveness to all deceased believing men and women (Momineen wa Mominaat) across the Ummah. Ameen.”

Your reading progress, ayah bookmarks, personal notes, tilawah streaks, Smart Tasbih counts, and preferred settings are stored locally on your device using your browser's private localStorage and IndexedDB. They remain under your absolute control and are never uploaded to any remote server unless you voluntarily register for an account.

3. Geolocation & Location Services

When you use the "Auto-Detect GPS" or Qibla compass feature, coordinates are evaluated strictly in client-side memory to calculate solar angles and the direction to the Holy Kaaba. Your precise location coordinates are never logged, tracked, or saved on any server.

4. Optional Sync Account Security

If you choose to create an account to synchronize your bookmarks across devices, we only store your email address and a salted, cryptographically hashed password (bcrypt). We will never sell, rent, or share your email address.

5. Offline PWA Caching

Quran Hamid uses a Service Worker to cache core assets and the Madinah Quran text so that you can read the Holy Quran, practice your Adhkar, and reflect even when you have no internet access.
